# Akinda > Shariah compliance screening for public equities and ETFs, as a developer API. > Every security is screened under five methodologies — AAOIFI as primary, plus the > Dow Jones, FTSE, MSCI and S&P Islamic index rulebooks — and the verdicts are > expected to disagree, because the standards do. ## Documentation - [API documentation](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/developer/docs): every public endpoint, its request parameters and response fields, authentication, rate limits and error shapes. - [Screening methodology](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/shariah-screening-methodology): the five rulebooks, their thresholds and how each is applied. - [API status](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/developer/docs/status): uptime and response times per endpoint. - [Changelog](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/developer/docs/changelog): what shipped and when. - [Pricing and plans](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/pricing): which endpoints each plan unlocks. ## Products - [MCP server](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/mcp-server): ask Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor whether a security is Shariah-compliant, using the same data as the REST API. - [Webhooks](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/webhooks): verdict changes pushed to your endpoint. - [ETF screening](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/etf): a fund's verdict derived from its basket, with the coverage figure beside it. - [Securities covered](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/developer/docs/stocks-list): the stock and fund universe, read live. ## Background - [Blog](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/blog): screening methodology, integration guides and per-company analyses. - [How we screen, and its limits](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/disclosures) - [About](https://test-b2b.akinda.io/about) ## Reading our verdicts correctly - A verdict belongs to a methodology, never to Akinda in general. The five disagree by design. They CAN be combined, and we do combine them - but only with the rule named, because two different rules both read as "any": the stock side's any-of-five counts AAOIFI halal OR doubtful and the four index books halal only, while the fund side is symmetric. Never report a combined answer without saying which rule produced it. - A fund's own status is a portfolio-weight test derived from AAOIFI, not the AAOIFI verdict for the fund. A constituent's status IS AAOIFI's. - Coverage belongs to the FUND SCREEN and to nothing else. It says how much of the basket we can see, it is load-bearing, and it must be quoted with the fund-screen verdict. The four index rulebooks publish NO coverage figure - it is null for them by construction - so quoting a coverage number beside a DJIM, FTSE, MSCI or S&P verdict attributes it to a rulebook that never produced it. - A security absent from our coverage answers 404. That is not a verdict, and it is not a judgement about the security.
